This podcast outlines my journey in reinventing my primary classroom to be ICT friendly. We look at effective teaching and learning and how this is enhanced by the use of ICT.
I am a primary trained teacher and have taught in both Western Australia and New Zealand. Currently I am enjoying a year release from classroom teaching as a recipient of an E-Fellowship through the NZ Ministry of Education. My area of research is the effects of Web 2 tools on Oral Literacies. I am also an ICT Facilitator for the Tai o Rapuwai cluster of schools in Dunedin, NZ.

We had a professional development day at Pine Hill School today where the teachers and teacher aides learnt all about podcasting. As I have said before, everything about Pine Hill School is top quality! This is especially true of our teacher aides. In the episode Adie and Mary reflect on a numeracy evening they attended and what this means for our school.
